These instructions are simple enough as you can play via the touchscreen. And this time around, you’ll travel through time and witness a series of mysterious events that led to the greatest discovery in human history.Īs the game begins you find yourself awakening in a prison cell, the tutorial kicks in at that time to walk you through the controls. You’ll explore a world full of puzzles and mechanical gadgets in mind-twisting inventions. Just like the first game in the series you play as Giacomo, the budding apprentice to Leonardo da Vinci, the Renaissance genius. As I’ve previously reviewed The house of Da Vinci ( which you can find here), we thought it might be a good idea if I reviewed Blue Brain Studios second offering as well. Arrange the folding key so it matches the keyhole. Zoom in on the left one and take a look at the keyhole.ġ9. Now, there are two doors in this room that are unlocked using the folding key. Then look at your notebook to see them all sketched around the room. First, use your Oculus to see some numbers and markings on each of the support beams. There’s a big table in the center of the room, but we’ll get to that in a bit. After a cutscene showing the past, you’re back in the present. Pull the lever to get the elevator moving.ġ7. Use it to see the gears inside the machine here and then move the gears into position. Now we get to use the a oculus for its other ability. ![]() Pull one to the left and one to the right and the shelf should collapse, revealing a hidden door. Take the metal loop from the folded shelf.ġ5. Rotate it so the two arrows line up and the shelf collapses.ġ4. Slide it to the left and the shelf will fall.ġ3. First, zoom in on the left piece of wood holding up the big shelf. ![]() The wall you’re facing has a few hidden switches. This place should look familiar if you played the first game.ġ2. Use the Oculus to go back to the past, just after you jumped into the time machine. He also mentions that he added a new function to the Oculus, but doesn’t explain what it is.ġ1. It seems he took it from you and was the one who gave it to you in the first place? He explains how he built a time machine and regretted it. Read the note from Leonardo Da Vinci and take the Oculus back. ![]() Insert the metal handle and push it down to reveal a hidden chamber. Go back to the drawer where you found the folding key. But you can rotate the mechanisms on the right side to release the handle. Now open the folding key in your bag and move the pieces around so the key can fit in the keyhole. Go back to the chest and zoom in on the keyhole.Ĩ.
